Closure types
- Friction push back — the classic stud closure: slides on, holds firmly, easy on and off.
- Screw back — twists onto a threaded post; the most secure option, great for sleeping in or for valuable stones.
- Hinged huggie latch — clicks shut around the lobe; no separate back to lose.
- Lever / English back — for drop earrings: the lever locks behind the lobe and keeps the earring hanging straight.

- Hypoallergenic by default. All our posts are 925 sterling silver, rhodium-plated and nickel-free — safe for sensitive ears.
- Weight matters. Under ~2 g per earring feels weightless all day; heavier drops are best for occasions.
